Incubation

As everyone trying to enter the Games industry knows, finding work can be hard- or impossible! With that stark realisation in mind, I applied to join the inaugural Girl Geek Academy Career Incubator (you can read all about it here).

In their words, it's a program for NB people and women that "will provide an invaluable opportunity for practitioners in the early stages of their careers to come together to upskill and think strategically about their future.". As winter set in through May, I found out that I had been accepted into the program! It's such a great opportunity to meet new people and further advance my career in the field of game development.
